FAST PAY
FAST PAY is the system of automatic postponed payment of motorway toll fees, devised in collaboration with
SSB (Society for Bank Services S.p.A.)
and based on the use of ordinary bank debit cards with magnetic strip (like Bancomat cards) activated by the issuing bank.
If you are Debit Card (Bancomat) owners, check with your bank if your card can be used for Fast Pay and you will be able to pay toll fees directly with your card at no extra charge.
WHERE IS REQUIRED
Fast Pay may be used in all the self-service Viacard toll lanes of the national motorway network and in toll lanes bearing the Fast Pay logo.
HOW TO USE IT
To use it, first insert the ticket taken at the entrance toll station into the machine in one of the self-service automatic toll lanes and then insert the card (with the magnetic strip facing down and on the right hand side) without keying in any personal ID number (PIN). A receipt may be requested at the moment of payment by pressing the receipt button.
The maximum payment/toll fee amounts to Euro 61.97 for a single trip.
The multifunction credit/debit cards currently in use are normally accepted by the toll machines as credit cards, in accordance with issuing banks.
CHARGING OF PAYMENT, INVOICE
The sum of the toll fees payed by Debit card in the Fast Pay lanes will be charged to your current account once a month, with average interest value considered and at no extra charge.
If the customer needs a copy of the
invoice
you may request one from Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A.
